Issue: the rear offside passenger door will not lock / unlock and the window will not go up or down. So no matter if I try from the keyfob, the interior lock switch and try the handle (inside and out) the door will not open. The window will not go up or down from either the door switch, the global opening or the drivers arm control panel.

The way to check this is to remove the door panel and unplug the actuator. If door lock can now be moved then you have an electrical problem (faulty door lock switch or faulty door lock module). If you still cannot unlock door then actuator is mechanically bad and must be replace (usually the case) Posted on May 30, 2009.

Should also work if you hold the FOB in the hand you are pushing the button with. Reason is that the FOB contains a backup RFID-chip that does not need power.
